The Highland Community School
District provides education to the students of Riverside and Ainsworth.
Riverside Elementary was built in 1995, just off of Hwy 22 on Schnoebelen Street. 220 students attend preK-5. The school office can be reached at 319-648-2821.
After fifth grade, Riverside and neighboring Ainsworth students attend Highland Middle and then Highland High Schools. These school are located off of Hwy 218, about 7 miles south of Riverside.
Contact Highland Middle School at 319-648-5018 and Highland High School at 319-648-2891. There are 150 students in grades 6-8, and 200 in grades 9-12.
